The candidate will begin the doctoral project, which demonstrates the candidate's ability to design and conduct research independent, albeit guided, project producing an original piece of research and making a significant contribution to solving a problem and expanding the knowledge base in the specific discipline. Course may be repeated but no further credit will be awarded.
